Weidan Walker

Weidan Walker is a jack of all trades and a giant computer nerd. They are a lifetime resident of Whatcom County that graduated from Whatcom Community College with an Associate in Criminal Justice. They began working at WWU in August of 2023 and joined the Salish Sea Institute in November of 2024. They worked as a Postal Carrier for six and a half years, and an Animal Control Officer for a year, and has really learned the lay of the land. They also developed a love of the Ocean from being a Sea Scout for 2 years and had the pleasure of climbing Mt. Shuksan. After having experienced everything the Salish Sea region has to offer, they would like to give back.
