Cindy Elliser

Dr. Cindy Elliser is a marine mammalogist and educator based out of Anacortes, WA. She comes to us from Skagit Valley College where she has served as Associate Professor, teaching a variety of courses and working on curriculum development and program accreditation. Cindy is the Founder and Research Director at Pacific Mammal Research, a non-profit organization focused on surveying and educating the public about harbor porpoises and harbor seals. She has a wide range of skills that will allow her to work effectively on the academic front as well as engaging with people and science throughout the Salish Sea region. Cindy got her PhD in Integrative Biology from Florida Atlantic University.
